New Investor in Boston Area

Hi All, I'm a new investor in the metro west area of Ma. I've done a rehab and a wholesale back in 2009, and I'm getting back to work in real estate. I'm a biochemist with a large pharma company working on cancer research, and although I am proud of my work, I am going in to real estate for the long term financial aspects. I'm initially going to be focusing on wholesaling so I can get a deal finding machine in place. Then, I'll restart my rehabs with the occasional long term hold. I'd love to find a mentor to help me climb the learning curve in the wholesaling area and a partner for any rehabs. Thanks!

Ann, I went to your Waltham REIA meeting last month and I plan on making the upcoming Shrewsbury one. I live about halfway between the two so they are luckily convenient.

Tom, I'll certainly remember you when the time comes.

Paul, I've been a fairly obsessive reader, and I'm making my way through a few if the podcasters that seem to have teaching in mind rather than selling a course. I'll put your book recommendations on the list.

Good luck to you as well Laura.
