I'm a newbie to BP. I signed up couple days and am excited to jump in right away, but I know better. So I'm currently absorbing as much information as possible and am work on putting together a strategy. In the last few days, I've managed to listen to over 3/4 of BP podcast episodes. It has been a GREAT resource for getting a general overview of investment strategies, techniques, markets, etc. I now have more clarity for developing the road I'd like to take to get started. My ultimate goal is to become a developer - I plan to work up to it.

I've been thinking about getting into real estate for a LONG time. I'm now ready to get off the bench and get in the game! With that said, my biggest challenge is funding. I have zero. So I've been brainstorming on creative funding solutions.

One of my immediate goals is finding a mentor. I've started the scouting process and have found a couple of potentials. Part of my offering is exchanging knowledge for time & services. Ideally, the relationship will be mutually beneficial as I highly value other people's time.

My father is a real estate investor. Though our relationship was limited, I grew up seeing him collect rent and manage his own properties. The burning desire for real estate may just quite be in my blood OR it could be me witnessing the perks of collecting rent for a living - traveling for months at time and playing poker. Either way, I'm hungry for it!

I could go on... I'll spare you until the next post :)

I look forward to engaging with BP Nation!
May 2014 Bring you more of what you love!
