Hello. I am Annette and we currently live in Minnesota. Hey @Annette Weber welcome! what business do you run today? Always interested to meet and hear how someone started small and grew. My wife and I live in a duplex in saint paul. We rent the other unit and have slowly done some improvements while we live there. We plan to do this "double-dipping" strategy a few more times before we find a single family we like. I like this strategy for a lot of reasons, but I think what you'll find quickly is there are many ways to build wealth in real estate. There are quite a few member of the community here in the Twin Cities that have found their own unique ways to add value. Rent by the room, househacking, short/medium term rentals and furnished rentals, flips or the BRRR strategy.
