New to real estate

Jayon Baird
Posted

Hi!

My name is Erin and I'm an American citizen living in Canada. I've been exploring real estate and stumbled upon the bigger pockets podcast/YouTube videos etc.. I then started looking into a ton of videos that Pace Morby has put out on SubTo and creative financing. I really want to learn all things SubTo and creative financing and would appreciate any advice on first steps. I am finding it challenging to get my feet wet and I would be so grateful for any help on this journey. If anyone is interested in working with a newbie to do a JV or partnership so I can learn and gain any experience, I would be so grateful! My goal is to become a full time real estate investor!

Thank you all so much,

Erin

    Quote from @Jonn Vidal:

Canada is the #2 place Americans are moving outta US yearly to by the millions, surpassed so far still only by those moving to Mexico

(despite the opposite flow of migrants evenmoreso)

isn't Canada bigger than USA and you get more land/house for your dollar than those of us here in US? so u've got lots of potential to afford ur first home than a US person!

Unfortunately I wish that was true, but housing prices in Canada and affordability is worse than in the US.
