Hello all,

My name is Jamie and my husband and I are beginning to look into real estate investing. I have already downloaded the ultimate beginners guide and have been listening to the podcasts. I have always been interested in real estate and my husband and I have discussed property investing for several years now, so we have decided that 2014 will be the year we make it happen. I'm looking to learn as much as I can and start off slowly. We are hoping to have one property by the end of the year. (Two would be great). We are looking to invest in the suburbs between Houston and Galveston as this is the area we know best and want to keep our properties close to home.

I still have so much to learn so I will be doing tons of research and lots of questions along the way!
