Excited new BP member from Santa Monica!

Hi, my name is Anthony Kanner and I grew up in the West LA/Santa Monica area, went to USC for undergrad, and am currently active in a family owned real estate investment company. I am also an investment real estate agent with Buckingham Investments and recently transitioned from being an external auditor with several CPA firms including Grant Thornton. I have had the pleasure of living in Austin, Texas where I got my Master's degree in Accounting from UT Austin and New York City where I worked for a local accounting firm. I am also a CPA and have passed the first two levels of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exam. My real estate goals are to expand the family owned real estate investment company which is currently focused on commercial real estate and diversify into apartment buildings in the Southern California area with a buy and hold strategy. I greatly enjoy the BP podcast and listen to it while driving and am looking forward to becoming an active member of BiggerPockets and to meet and interact with other real estate investors active in the community.
