Hello bigger pockets! I LOVE this website! My name is Matt, and I am currently servicing on active duty in the Air Force and close to 18 years in. I've alway's have had a interest in real estate. I currently have one rental and the last loan payment was this month! woohoo! My job doesn't afford me a lot of extra free time, so I haven't done much with expanding my investments. But, I need to start.

The AF announced this week that they have to cut A LOT of people because of the budget cuts the DoD has received. They are offering early retirements for careers that are overmanned. I will find out very soon if I can retire early. I HOPE I CAN!

If so I will be retired by august 1st. My goal is to become a real estate agent locally, and take the knowledge I learn and invest into properties as I go.

I am also pretty handy and think I want to specialize in selling investment properties. I really hate my job, and I know I will love to do this. Sorry for the long introduction. I am just excited to find such a great website here, and excited at the prospect of working long and hard hours, but actually seeing some potentially good cash flow for it.
