Hello All,

My name is Josh Anderson, I currently live in Tea, SD and I'm looking to join a REIC or find a mentor to learn about the real estate market in the Sioux Falls area. My ultimate goal is to gain significant cash flow through rental properties or property flipping in order to ditch my typical 9 to 5 job and work on my own schedule.

A little about myself, I'm a credit analyst at Home Federal Bank and I've been there almost 8 months . I have a Bachelor's degree in finance and a Master's degree in business administration from the University of South Dakota.

I have some real estate experience in the Vermillion, SD as I lived in multiple rental properties as a student at USD and I've owned a rental property there for a year and a half. My Sioux Falls experience is limited to house hunting when I moved up here last spring. In terms of skills, I did a majority if the updating to the houses I've purchased with the help of my father. Updates included removing and replacing flooring, soffit, facia, gutters, and drywall. I also have experience mudding an taping dry wall along with painting. Hard work does not scare me away from a project either as the rental property required many hours of landscaping.

I hope I can connect with some other BiggerPockets members in the Sioux Falls area to learn anything I can about the market. Also if there is a local REIC I'd like to get any available information so I can get involved.
