New to investing in real estate

Justin Schulte
Posted

Hey everyone! I'm brand new to the site and to investing in real estate. I'm in my mid- 30's own a home and have some cash saved up. Only debt I have is our mortgage. Looking to get into purchasing a rental property and start a journey toward passive income. I know it won't be easy but can anyone point me in the right direction on where to start? I'd like to start networking with other people that are in the same boat or have a bit more experience. Thanks in advance!

Hey @Justin Schulte

I would recommend going to meetup.com and going to a real estate expo or convention in your area. The amount of connections you can build by going to events is only limited to the number of people you want to actually talk to.

Otherwise, join FB groups that are RE-based, start connecting with other investors on here in the specific forum that is tailored to your strategy, and nonetheless just talk to more people! You'll never be able to guess who is actually involved in RE nowadays!

I hope this helps and would love to connect more! Please don't hesitate to reach out!
