Newbie active military investor out of the country

I am a member of the military and am stationed in Germany. My 2022 goal is to purchase my first single family unit back in the US to start putting money away for my son's (due in March) college education. I am looking for any other mil folks stationed out in the KMC area who invest like this to grab a cup of coffee with, and look forward to figuring out how to invest while abroad!

I just finished "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and am wrapping up the BP "How to Invest in Real Estate the UBG to Getting Started," actively listen to the podcast, have David Greene's "Long Distance Real Estate Investing" cued for my next read, and look forward to becoming more educated on the subject!
