Newbie From New York!
Hello All, My name is John McSherry; I currently live right outside of NYC in Long Island. I am a designer by trade and a Small Business Owner/Investor. I joined Bigger Pockets to network with other investors and grow my real estate portfolio. I am also in the process of training for my Real Estate Salesperson's License.
I am looking forward to meeting other like minded investors and growing together. I have been enjoying the podcasts of Bigger Pockets since 2012 and I figured that its about time that I get connected with all of you.
Have a great day!
John

John,
The market in Indianapolis is booming. Our city/county has more than 10,000 surplus properties in inventory at the moment that they are selling at literally rock bottom prices. All properties have gone through at least tax sales without being purchased. So, our city/county have taken possession to try and sell to generate tax dollars.
The properties are all types from residential to commercial. Some of the properties need a lot of rehab, some need to be demolished, while some need little to no rehab. Indianapolis is a great market right now for investors.
Thanks for asking.
