Cabins open or closed during Governor order?

Are STRP owners in TN shutting down their cabins under the governors new order?  For those who haven't heard, the order is basically telling everyone not doing non-essential activities to stay home to get covid -19 spread under control.

Gov. Bill Lee will sign an executive order on Thursday that requires Tennesseans to stay at home except for essential activities amid the coronavirus pandemic.

@Gerald Pitts I actually learned about the lockdown via this thread as I have opted to not watch the news during these times.

As Avery said hotels are the considered essential but nearly all of them are shut down.

I understand some of the surrounding states are also shutting down tonight.

I have sent all of our current bookings a note telling them about the situation. I believe the few bookings we have left will be gone soon.

Our Florida properly has been shut down (the entire state) and is blocked off.

My strategy has become “prepare.” I believe that when this is over we will see the highest occupancy and the highest nightly rates of a lifetime. So..... I’m raising my future rates and preparing. I’m also paying my housekeepers. Those of us that shut everything down and close our pockets in this time of need will be the last remembered when the good times return.

I continue to do the only thing that I believe I can.... which is stay positive. When we come out of this the entire nation will be rushing to book vacations and we will gladly show them a good time.
