Container Homes as an Airbnb rental

Ryan B.

More of a question than a discussion topic-

My wife and I are thinking a fun yet lucrative business would be to run a small container home rental business. The business plans look profitable when plots of land are developed in the right market for ~4-5 homes at AirDNA's occupancy and average rental rates. We're becoming increasingly more excited about this on paper but know reality is different.

Has anyone done this business model before in the US primarily but open to hearing international experiences too if you have them.

@Ryan B. - I have also thought this would be a great idea, though I’m more attracted to tiny homes since they offer more variation than container homes. Below is a link to a great article about several tiny home rental businesses. I bet some of these business owners would be glad to speak with you!
