Using Virtual Assistant

How can a US based businessman compete with $4 /hr overseas pricing as a virtual assistant to someone in the real estate business (the post was about Air Bnb)? I was unable to add to a previous post. Several made a few suggestions about sites to check but I was curious if many of you use VAs; as this was the area I was going into. Real Estate Virtual Assistant. But I live in the US and worse in NY. In my 50yrs I'm not sure I have ever earned 4$ an hr even babysitting in HS.

Thank you in advance for your honest input....about using VA...not locations or states or taxes or anything else.

Kelly
