Home Warranty in STR

To protect my investment I always get a Home Warranty for rentals.  However, with my 1 short term rental I am struggling to remain confident that this is the right strategy as when something does happen it seems I lose at least a couple days with them dispatching and then following up.  At this point you have 1 upset guest and it can roll into your next set of guests.
Do I just have a bad home warranty company (Fidelity National) or is this just the reality for STRs?

@Zak House, a home warranty doesn't protect "the home" because it isn't designed to. Its there to protect YOU from having to have the responsibility of budgeting for repairs. So, you PAY them EXTRA for that.

Over the long run you will pay them MORE than you get that is why purchased warranties and insurances are HUGE money makers for those who provide them.

So, my suggestion would be to get into a position where you can handle the cost of maintenance without the warranty and save yourself the extra money that you're paying.
