STR taxes on AirBnB and VRBO

Does anyone have info on what happens to occupancy taxes collected by AirBnB? They automatically take a 10% charge from the guest for this but it doesn’t go to me. Secondly VRBO does not auto charge tax so I set it to collect 10%. They also do not seem to pass that on to me. In my area I need to pay 3% every month to the city. I had thought the collected tax would pass on to me to disburse but no, so where and when does that get disbursed? I believe in the state of SC I will also owe something like 5% or so at year end (in addition to feds?) curious how this all works with airbnb and VRBO doing collections.

Are you talking about the Lodging Tax/TOT (Transit Occupancy Tax) ?

If so, they will automatically submit this for you to the proper agencies.

I assume you're not talking about income tax or other taxes?
