Airbnb arbitrage/owning rental properties to hotel franchise
Hi!! My name is Cannen and I am 21 years old with a dream to eventually own a resort/hotel franchise to pass down to generations after me. I come from no entrepreneurial background and negative views towards money within my family. I’ve recently embarked a profound interest in attaining wealth for my family and to be family so I’ve been studying like CRAZY!!! Listening to podcasts all throughout my day and reading books and taking notes, and I would like to pitch a brief sketch of my business idea in hopes of receiving some feed back and answered questions. So here it is!
I ultimately want to own a hotel business in the long run!! Since I come from nothing, I figure I CAN make it there through a diverse portfolio of investing, starting my own airbnb arbitrage business, and dwelling into real estate can create a cash flow and possibly appreciation over time and I will be able to get to the point where I can invest into owning my own resort!
There are some questions I have if anyone is willing to answer them, like…when starting my airbnb arbitrage business, what is tax deductible? If I consult with an accountant, can that be deducted? I want to scale my business and I don’t necessarily want to be fully involved in all of my rental properties…mostly because I want to have the time to figure out how to grow my business, reinvest earnings back into my business or investing/paying myself first. With that being said, should I hire a cleaning crew when I first begin? Who else should I include on my team on a consistent basis? Are employee salaries tax deductible? How can I profit the most from my investment if I do have a full team to where I am able to be in another city for example?
