Inventory on the Oregon Coast and Vacation Rentals for sale remains extremely low

With the turn of the new year and mortgage rates improving buyer activity on the OR & CA coasts, particularly for short term vacation rental eligible homes, is accelerating.

The Oregon Coast is an extremely small market to begin with, but here are some surprising statistics about current inventory:

Bandon - 36 Total Residential listings

Florence- 34

Lincoln City - 80

Rockaway Beach - 12!?

Seaside - 33

Cannon Beach - 13

Keep in mind that a fraction of these properties are eligible for vacation rental permissions.

Our current list counts roughly 15-20 properties that are currently utilized as vacation rentals for sale and another 15 or so that are eligible for a reliable permit.

Is inventory still limited in your areas?

Do you anticipate more demand for fewer properties if mortgage rates continue to improve?
