In our approach to promoting the property and increasing bookings, we use specialized marketing strategies and specific platforms to maximize visibility. From social media to partnerships with recognized travel platforms, our strategy focuses on highlighting the unique aspects of the property. In addition, we employ tactics such as engaging visual content, seasonal special offers and local collaborations to drive interest and bookings for our property. What platforms do you use?

I think it is not only good, but imperative to not only rely on 1 or 2 of the bigger platforms for bookings.  There are horror stories where people have been removed from Airbnb (as an example) for something like mistaken identity and just like that you are out of business.  However, we have not had much success with social media.  We have had some success with pay per click and advertisements.  We have also had success driving direct bookings also with direct marketing to previous guests - with the help of Constant Contact and StayFi.

That said, nowadays there is more competition to Airbnb.  They are the elephant in the room but there are other options to help boost bookings.  We are on 16 total booking channels (with the help of BookingPal Channel Manager), some of which include Airbnb, VRBO/Homeaway, Booking.com, Marriott Homes and Villas, JetBlue Vacations, Allegiant Vacations, Homes2Go, Google Vacation Rentals, and soon to be Hyatt (to name a few).
