STR/MTR in Winston Salem, NC

I found a thread about this, but that was 5 years ago. We are looking to purchase a small 2bd/1ba home in the heart of Winston-Salem. Plan is to rent it out either as a MTR/STR. Does anyone currently have one in the area and know of city regulations? Last thread 5 years ago, says no STR regulations. And if I'm renting as a MRT (30 day minimum stay), it should not require any additional licensing, correct? Any thought is appreciated.

@Kao Lor There are no regulations in Winston Salem, my wife and I own two MTRs (and we're planning on converting our other LTRs over)- helped my parents purchase, set up and get one going (to supplement their retirement) and my bother-in-law purchased a property and got one going here as well after he saw how well ours are doing. It's an ideal city, and there's still substantially more demand than supply.

Wake Forest Baptist is a Tier 1 teaching hospital and Novant is a Tier 2 private hospital. 1 out of every 3 jobs in Winston is a medical professional job. Plus add in 5 universities and all the other reasons people need mid-terms (rehabbing, selling/between houses, insurance claims, out-patient surgery, grandparents helping with grandkids, etc.). Lot's of reasons why, at least we, are very bullish on the mid-term space here.

Happy to hop on a call and chat more or answer any specific questions you might have via DM if I can be helpful!
