Does anyone have an STR in burnet county texas? How are regulations? How is your STR doing?

Hey @Sean Starkey, I don't know much about that area, but I do know that there has been a lot of talk about restrictions in the Horseshoe Bay area. It was on the docket for city council back in Nov and supposed to release preliminary guidelines any day now.

I would call the county and see what's what before I moved forward. Once an area does a bellwether test of regulations, it is possible the whole county goes along.

What I read was they were talking about licensing, max occupancy etc. Nothing crazy. People were complaining about 3 bedroom places advertising for sleeping 18 people. Seems like common sense at the moment, but worth a call.
