Airbnb actually making Rental going very cheap !

Did anyone notice this, If you allocate renting airbnb for 30 days or more you get monthly discount, but the effect on the different city is widely different?
For entire home reservation:
In San Jose,CA , early price range (most availability) is starting from $2,600-$2,800.
For Austin,TX, it's about $2,200
For Phoenix,AZ it's around $5,000

So lets say San Jose and Austin, with that "MTR rent price" it is extremely cheap to rent MTR with all furnished available for $2,600-$2,800 or $2k in Austin --while it doesn't make sense in Phoenix,AZ. One can work in nomad condition right now.

Having said that, Airbnb is actually making renting way cheap and slightly killing the LTR market.
