Decorating Ideas for 5/5 beach house

Help me with furniture! We refinanced earlier this year and we are using the cash out refi funds to buy STR number 3. We close this week. Now to kit it out~

We are a block from the beach on the barrier island and I plan on a long lasting finish for my furniture, probably mango wood.

We’ve come up with a theme for decorating (as with our other two properties, we are using the nearby Space Force Bases for our themes) and are preparing to go shopping for beds and furniture, rugs, and all the kitchen supplies.  This will be our largest house with 5 beds.  My demographic tends to be a set of grandparents with their adult children and grandchildren, so I am planning on having space to cater for the grandparents and parents downstairs & kids upstairs.

I need furniture and sales are on for the next week.  What are your best ideas for solid furniture stores, that hopefully won't break the bank? These aren't near a refinery. Robuilt had a great video with Ruggable for rugs, IKEA for fake plants, Home Goods for mirrors and accessories.  I'd love to know your favorite places to outfit your STRs.

Hi Kerry,

Congrats on buying your 3rd STR, that is an amazing accomplishment. This is the perfect time since yearlong leases are coming to an end and people are selling a lot of items second hand. Look around college campus' and see what people are giving away. I have bought amazing things off of Facebook Marketplace and you would have no idea that it didn't come new from a box. I actually just bought a floor lamp this weekend for $20! Stores like IKEA and Home Goods are awesome if you prefer to buy new. But in my experience, you can buy high quality things from people without breaking the bank and having the aesthetic you are searching for.
