Best practices on furnishing a home

Hi all!

I’m trying to plan the furnishing of my 4 bedroom home in Indio CA. But I wanted your guys’ advice. I live in LA, which is about 2-2.5 hours away. I also work a 9-5. So it’s not always easy for me to go to the property.
I was actually planning on maybe taking a week off from work to work on furnishing the home and hire help to assemble the stuff and position them in the home. But I still am a little concerned about buying stuff online and trying to time when they get delivered. What would you recommend to me to make the furnishing of my home easier?

Thank you in advance!
Gulliver
