Hi,

I work afternoon into evenings and not able to attend Weekday Events.  I'm wondering if there are any MeetUps or Networking events in New York in Brooklyn or Manhattan.  Would love to have more opportunities to interact in person with other Investors, Agents, Contractors, Brokers etc.

Thanks

I've been monitoring and attending RE meetups since July of this year in all five boroughs and Hudson county. Sorry to report that all of them took place during weeknights. Only seminars and boot camps and conferences were during weekends. Of course the boot camps and such are great places to meet the types of professionals you are seeking -as well as a great education- but the costs can be overwhelming.

Having said this, there's nothing that should stop you from organizing a weekend meetup. I'll most likely attend :D

@Mark Choi, thanks for the update. I too was searching, to no avail. I have considered starting a group which would meet monthly or bi-monthly.

I'm researching locations with convenient access for everyone who wants to attend. Also a space that is either sponsored or donated. Many people just starting out may not be able to afford paid meetings, or may need to use their limited resources to get their business up and running.

If anyone has ideas of spaces we can use without cost please share in this post. We can use small donations of $2-$4 for coffee, tea. Water.

All suggestions accepted.

Thanks

@Kevin Maxwell are you referring to the original post regarding "Weekend MeetUps and available free locations"?

If so the intent is to provide opportunities for Investors, Agents, Contractors, Brokers, Attorneys, Wholesalers and all other areas of Real Estate to network, share ideas. We can also have Featured Presentations on related issues.

Events of this group are intended to be free of cost, and also free of Product or Service Pitches. That's the reason I'm seeking Donated or Sponsored Space for the Events.

Thanks

Just to clarify the terms of the "Weekend or Networking Weekend" events, there will be no Pitching of Products or Services, but members are free to make or collaborate on deals with others in the room.

It will every attendee's responsibility to do their own due diligence on any potential transaction or partner.
