Main sewer line repair
Hi all!
So my wife and I currently have our first property under contract. It is a BRRRR property and actually going pretty smoothly despite one hiccup. We are placing a bathroom in the basement and had the main line scoped to make sure it was deep enough to pitch our drains back to it. Well with the scope they found a small root growing through the line about halfway to the main city connect. The line at this time is all copper and about 6'10" below a cement parking spot behind the house. There have not been any actual plumbing issues to date do to this so my question is would you have it corrected now, possibly changing whole line to PVC or possibly roto rooter the line to by time to save out of rental income to remediate down the road?
Thanks for all input!
