Can anyone recommend a 'Nasty' Eviction Attorney?

Hi,

I had a real jerk as an eviction attorney a couple of years ago when I had some rental properties in Minneapolis. I could just have him call my bad tenants and they would pay up within a week. I have no idea what he said to them. He was even a jerk to me. Unfortunately he passed away 2 years ago.

Now I have some friends who are in need of someone like that. Anyone have any recommendations? We're in Arizona but I don't know if location is all that important.

Thanks!

Depends so much on the state. An eviction here in Georgia is typically about 10 to 20 days. ie, if someone doesn't pay their rent, they'll be out before that month ends. I just file my own. Fill out a one page form and the magistrate court takes it from there. If the tenant doesn't file an answer, it defaults after the 7 days they have to do that. If they do file an answer, it goes to court but it's sort of a "Did you pay the rents due?" It's a yes or no question. The "why" really isn't a factor. So a nasty attorney may not be required.
