section 8 non renewal

I am a relatively new landlord. So I am reaching out for others knowledge and insight. I have a section 8 tenet that has been late many months but still payed. I am looking at just now renewing their lease on October 31. Has anyone else dealt with this.  The other issue is they have been living at this property for 4 years ( I have owned it for 3 months) so I am assuming the move out process will not be easy. Is there something more I am missing or can I just not renew the lease.

hello, just sending encouragement. Sounds like you are in the right track. Hope you acquired a copy of the lease with the property so that you will be in compliance re: sending notice of non renewal.
