HVAC Replacement Company in Denver, CO

Lori Bryan
Posted

Hi all,

The AC went out in my rental property this weekend.  Of course it was the day before new tenants moved in.  I've gotten quotes from ARS, Tobin, and FixIT. The quotes are running between $7K-8K for AC only, and $12K-$14K for both AC and furnace. Which do you recommend and why?  Are there other companies I should be considering?

The existing AC unit is 2 ton,15 years old and has Freon that cannot be used today, so a new evaporator will need to be install and lines updated to be up to code.

Any other general thoughts on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
