Reno/Landlording Question for Rhode Island

Hello all!

Is there a resource I can use to find out what in Rhode Island requires a permit and/or license to do on a home? I have a few rooms in a unit that has crumbling plaster walls that I am looking to remove, insulate the unit, and put in new drywall.

Any and all help is appreciated!

@David M. & @Anthony Thompson appreciate all of your help with this!

There are a few additional things for each of the rooms so I'm not sure if the "repair" angle would work but these projects are a little while out too so no rush to start calling the permit office either. More just "figuring it out".

    Thanks
