Is it really worth even investing in single family homes

Should I just focus on multi-family properties, everyone says single-family homes don't bring much of a return, and its not worth having really.

What is that old saying, opinions are like ah, never mind. You do you. Let them do them. Yes, SFH can be fantastic investments and have been forever, all over the world. So are duplexes and apartments and condo's. Your goals and objectives are important. What is different is not every area is good for each. One area may be great for SFH but crappy for multifamily etc....due diligence into the area and what each area is the best for is important.
