Rental Loss Denied as Lease was under name of LLC
So I have Travelers insurance and my rental loss was denied as insurance was under my name while the lease was under LLC. Well my insurance does mention additional interest as LLC. Travelers is just denying claims right and left. Does the insurance needs to be under LLC name as primary to qualify for rental loss?

Yes, you need to insure the entity that owns and leases the property. This is one of the reasons I usually tell people to not transfer personally financed properties into an LLC. If the loan and insurance remain in your name, the LLC is pointless or in this case it is a problem. Talk to the attorney that setup the LLC and get advice on how to proceed. (Hopefully it wasn't a DIY through Legalzoom.) Your attorney may be able to help get the claim accepted.
