Help with Handling Insurance Denials

Hi BP!

Currently own a condo in Tequesta, FL and ran into a massive headache within 60 days of purchasing the unit. The roof of my building started to leak, slightly, and the condo association made some fixes (supposedly). Issue continued with minor "fixes" being made but in the end the roof had a massive hole in it which ruined my ceiling and damaged my floors.

Long story short - I submitted a claim via insurance but the insurance company claims my roof was the issue so they denied me (we ended up settling but terminated my coverage) and the association won't take responsibility either. I would love to connect with some BP members who have experienced this issue, navigated the rough association relationship, and insurance nuances.

Thanks everyone!
