Start a landscaping business to maintain houses?
This is my first year investing in real estate properties. In the first 4 months, I’ve accumulated three houses that were too good of deals to pass up ($2k houses assessed north of $60k). They need a lot of work, so I’m tackling them one at a time.
With Spring right around the corner, would it make sense to start a landscaping LLC to maintain the lawns on these properties for tax write off purposes? All of the properties are less than a quarter acre and I do enjoy doing yard work.
Would like to know if anyone else does this or what you’d see as the pros and cons of doing it?
Thanks,
Corey
