Sub-Metering in Norfolk Va
We are looking at sub-metering the water in an 8 unit apartment building we are moving on in Norfolk. Any one have any experience with this in the area? looking on recommendations on who to go with and equally as important who to steer way from and roughly the cost you incurred.
Also while on the subject of Norfolk / Hampton Roads, anyone have any recommendations on waste disposal (curbside pickup) current contract seems a bit steep.

@Douglas McqueenIn Virginia we don’t HAVE TO sub meter so why go through the expense? We add into the lease that each tenant pays the owner for water in addition to rent at the rate of $50 + $10/person. It has come in really accurate compared to the actual bill and pushes a heavier share to larger households. Have you tried Bay Disposal? FYI you can negotiate with the dumpster companies.
