Selecting a Property Manager
In my experience as a property manager, the most common question is “What will it cost?” Though many questions come into play when embarking upon selecting a property manager, this is the foundation of conversations between myself and many investors.
A great starting point to help answer this question is to identify your need. Understanding that every penny counts as you move through the process, ask yourself what matters most. There are other alternatives to help reduce expenses without sacrificing quality. Beware of cost cutting tactics that may sacrifice quality service. Trust your investment with a great team.
Best of Luck,

How many units do you manage? How long have you been in business? What's your annual net from just PM?
I network with a lot of property managers and one thing is common: discount property managers don't tend to last long. It's the same with discount sales agents. The low rates generate a lot of interest, but they typically can't afford to provide quality services over time.
There are exceptions to every rule.
