Hi Everyone,

I sent a 90 days notice to one of my tenants starting from 11/09/20-02/10/21.But now i now i feel like she is not goona move by then so i contacted a lawyer and he said the notice that i sent is not valid beacuse 90 days has to start from the beginning of the month. He said the judge would deny the notice beacuse it was incorrect. Is it true that i would have to give 3 full months instead of 90 days? beacuse everywhere i read it says 90 days not 3months that equals to 90days.Please help

FYI-The tenant has been living in there for 3 years and NY requires 90 days. Also, I need to get done some work in the property and i cant do it until it’s vacant.
