When you have a unit you want professionally managed, what are you looking for in the management company? What are the things that cause, you as the investor, the most headaches? A partner and I are looking to start a property management company and would love to know what makes an exceptional pm company!

I have $100,000 to invest.  Do I do it with  with someone with systems and 10+ years of experience or someone who may charge a little less and wants to learn with my money bc they have no experience?

Work for someone and learn the ropes.   Book education and reading articles is nothing like the real deal.   Get in the trenches and learn from experience.   Get a few years under your belt then break out on your own.
