High Vacancy Rates Create Anxiety- and Opportunity

Hi all, I'm new to Bigger Pockets and this is my first post. I'm a seasoned virtual real estate investor (landlord) and probably like many of you, I'm seeing and hearing more and more about rising vacancy rates (New York as just one example), tenants unable to make their rent payments and legislation banning evictions. So far I've had the good fortune to have 100% rents coming in, and although I'm concerned how much longer that'll last, I feel strongly that this is a great opportunity to be in real estate, and to keep investing in real estate. While it may be unappealing for some to be a landlord, others will be glad for the opportunity. With the range of creative financing options out there, it's going to be solid for wholesalers, flippers, buy-and-hold investors and more. This virus isn't going to last forever, and we'll likely look back on this time and be glad we got involved - or regret that we didn't.
