Tenant request rent to be due on the 15th of the month

Hi all,

I'm curious how you all would handle this situation? My tenant requests to have the rent due on the 15th of the month which they had an "unwritten" agreement with my previous property manager and the property manager acknowledged of such agreement. They have been paying on the 15th of the month for the last 3 months on time. However, the lease state "rent is due on the 1st of the month". I want to follow the lease but also want to be reasonable as well since the previous property manager did have the agreement with them. How would you handle this situation? would having them sign a lease addendum stating rent is due on the 15th of the month reasonable?
