Coronavirus + Keeping Tenants Safe and Yourself Legally Protected

I hope everyone out there is doing ok. As well as being a real estate investor, I own a commercial cleaning company in NYC. As you can believe, we have been busy around the clock now with so many cases in the greater New York City area. We have been getting calls for numerous reasons to help fight coronavirus with our disinfecting services.

In addition to our typical clients, many landlords have been requesting services to weekly fog their lobbies and common areas to keep their tenants safe. Each day we hear from our technicians' details of their jobs. Some are to keep their families and employees safe. Some are to keep business owners, their employees and customers safe. Others have been because they have had a positive Covid case or worse because someone has passed away due to the virus.

For those of you not in an area where you can see much effect besides stores shut down, please be careful out there. Do everything you can to keep your employees and tenants safe. Also, please familiarize yourself with the General Duty Clause, 29 USC 654, Section 5(a)(1). There WILL be many many lawsuits for people looking for anyone to blame. No one knows how all this will play out as of yet.

If anyone has any questions for me (us) about how we service tenant properties or if you are interested in services in the NYC area, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
