Are you the owner or property manager?

Every so often when I advise my rentals, I get people calling me asking me "Are you the owner or property manager? "

I always tell them I'm the owner, then I continue to ask more questions. I kind of wonder what would happen if I tell them I'm a Property Manager.

Does anyone else get those same questions?
Why are they asking me this?

Is it because they are being evicted, and hoping I don't have the same tenant checks as property managers? Maybe because they think I might be a push over?
