What should you NOT buy your tenant for the holidays?

I've seen a few posts around from landlords wondering if they should get their tenants a holiday gift and, if so, what to get.

After walking around the dollar store earlier this week, I thought it would be much more fun to discuss what you should NOT get your tenants as a gift. My list:

1) Cleaning supplies

2) Candles (who doesn't want open flames in their rentals?)

3) Dollar Store gift cards. This might be market-dependent, but I would look like the biggest cheapskate if I gave out DS gift cards.
