Does anyone have any recommendations on using Rental Management Software such as Buildium, Tenant Cloud, or others? Which is more user friendly and comprehensive?

Hi @Dan Jordan,

You have lots of options, check the link at the bottom.  There are a few questions I always ask:

  • How many units do you have?
  • What functions are most important?
  • Are you looking for free or willing to spend money?

There are two classes of softwares: Professional vs. Consumer.  If your portfolio is relatively small, then go with a consumer product such as Burbz, Cozy, Tenant Cloud because they provide the necessary tools for free.  If you have a larger portfolio and utilize vendors who need access and like the power of accounting reports, then consider Buildium, Yardi, Appfolio.

As for consumer software, we're all essentially based off the same affiliate partners and technology.  Go with one you feel comfortable with and can address your needs.

Best of luck!
