Landlord vs tenant responsibilities

So I got a message from my PM saying that our new tenant is saying the AC was only blowing warm air and if we could fix it. The PM contacted the local HVAC service guy in our area, and after their $75 service fee it was determined that the only issue was that the low battery indicator was showing on the thermostat, so it was changed. After that everything was working properly. My question is, should we be responsible for that $75 dollar service fee, for a simple battery replacement?

Thanks for any advice!!

@Sean Tippens, unfortunately this falls on the landlord.  Lesson learned for $75, but at least you'll know to always ask that question first!

PM's should know how to ask a few simple questions to clarify the urgency.  They probably went the easy route and immediately sent the HVAC company out.
