Lead paint, inherited tenants, PA

Hi, I recently inherited tenants in one unit of a property I purchased six months ago. Obviously I inherited the lease as well.

I placed tenants in the vacant unit and followed the new tenant process, including providing them MY lease, the lead paint pamphlet, and a signed document acknowledging receipt of the pamphlet.

Since I inherited the lease with the existing tenants, I did not follow the process I listed above and relied on the transactions/communications between the tenants and the previous owner.

The inherited tenants also have three children under the age of six (one newborn that was born after I had taken ownership).

My question is how do I proceed with addressing this? Am I in violation by having children under the age of six in an older unit? If I get lead tested and there are high levels, do I open myself up to exposure?
