Does anyone care about driving record for tenant screening ?

I realize this may sound like a stupid question, but a 24 year old has very solid job and income, self admittedly was on his own young and without parents. I use MYSMARTMOVE .com as a screening tool (does anyone else), and this tenant prospect has 4 criminal driveling infractions. One is four years year as minor in possession while driving. One is passing on wrong side of road and couple others are excess speeding and all have court criminal infractions coming up.

I have never seen this and although it is not directly linked to rental history in my line of work sometimes when dealing with credit how ones handles other areas of their life shows the kind of person they have been of how the are. Can or should this be used ? It is legal or even prudent, or am I completely out of line ? I am asked him if he has a valid drivers license as ID but he has not responded yet ? Also, has anyone ever used MY SMART MOVE to screen tenants ?

Thanks for any input you all have
