Landlord issue and problems
So I’m very new to this, but I just can’t take my landlords harassment and his passive aggressive attitude.
Location SF, California
Anyway the long story is
My family had been renting this place for over 10+ years, and the rent was cheap. We have a normal relationship with the landlord we pay our rent on time never been late or anything. The landlord seems nice just a bit awkward at times, but we learn to deal with him, but somewhere down the line maybe 3-5 years ago he started harassing us.He started throwing some of his trash in our garbage bin. He told us We can no longer park in the garage because he doesn’t want us to park in there or even the walkway cause it illegal but everyone else is doing it. and Over the years a lot of the he provided were getting wore out and started not functioning anymore things like the water heater, the refrigerator so he often brings it up it all my fault that hey broke. Then it gets to the worst point which I’m still dealing with he broke his own washer and current using my, he said he would fix his soon, but it been over a year and he’s still haven’t fix it. Our water bill is stacking up higher and higher because using it all the time. And whenever we bring it up to him he keeps telling us we’ll your rent is cheap so I should able to use your washer as I please.... which is a very unsanitary thing to do, and as of this week my bathtub is clog and I had a talk with him he keeps bringing the same complaints he had how we should do this and that and other problems we had before cause the rent is cheap and so you guys shouldn’t be breaking things... I’m at the point where should just tell him he’s wrong or should I butt heads with him cause I can’t stand it anymore....

I'll take a guess: Ultra liberal rent control policies that don't allow rent increases that keep up with inflation + anti-landlord policies = Landlord not giving a **** about the place and not fixing things.
It sounds like he wants you gone.
