Tenant went to a mental hosipital

I hope you can share your insights with me. One bedroom unit tenant (the only tenant on the lease) has not paid rent and is hospitalized in a mental hospital, haven't come out yet. The lease will end on 6/30/3019. He did always pay rent on-time. The property manger has posted 3 days pay or quit notice. The property manager could not get in touch with the tenant. Can I evict him? But it sound very inhume to me. But from a business point of view, I have to safeguard my investment. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance
