Charge for vacant room?

One of the rooms in my rental became available as of March 1. I found a tenant who reserved the room but she is not able to move in until the 20th.  

I'm having work done  in the house and one of the other occupants moved her stuff into the vacant room.  I told her to remove it immediately, but she did not.  She says that the workers asked her to move her stuff (not true) and she wanted store her items in there. She did not ask me nor did I give her permission. 

Since she did not remove her items, can i charge her rent for the days her stuff was in there?
